Washington State University: Now we're getting to the houses that finished towards the end.

Instead of interior blinds, this house has massive metal panels that slide on exterior tracks.

They also used the steel shipping container in their design. The beam in the upper left in this photo is partially held up by the steel crate.

This is the structural PVC decking they used all around the exterior. Someone should have told these guys that PVC is not a green material.
