The University of Colorado: This was the winning house. It wasn't our favorite design, but their engineering put them in first place. The list of architectural materials (link above) is a good reference for a lot of green building products.

This is a special bio-based SIP (structual insulated panel) that the students at Colorado developed. They are applying for a patent.

BIO-Sips consist of 3/4 inch Sonoboard exterior layers and Biobased Soy Systems insulation. The thickness of the soy insulation varies depending on required R-values for wall or roof panels. Sonoboard is an engineered molded fiber structural panel manufactured from 100 percent post-consumer waste paper.
