Family Tree |

| This is our Family Tree. This project started out as a way to think of names for our future child. We did a little research on the internet, and gathered some info from family members. Before long, we had a ton of information on our hands, and the challenge became one of editing and formatting everything so it was easy to understand. Because we're architects - and we deal best with the visual world - we created a new graphic for the family tree.
What I think is interesting is that once it's in this format, you can start to see certain patterns and relationships which aren't as evident when you're just reading from a list of names and dates. From the location and length of each bar, you can quickly see when and for how long someone lived; how old a woman was when she had children and how closely they were spaced; and who else lived during that time. From the color you can see the mix of boys and girls. Click on one of the
four names below. The Bushey tree includes cousins, but the others just
show direct ancestors and their siblings. Scroll down further for photos
and links. If you have any corrections or additions, please email us with
your info.
